Nottingham Training Services (NTS) was established in January 2012 by Julie Bennett, owner and lead trainer.
Julie has worked for various businesses both in the voluntary and private sector delivering adult, paediatric and youth specific First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training. She also delivers various compliance training which includes Manual handling principles and practice, risk assessments, Fire Safety, Food Safety and Good Nutrition as well as Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults . Julie has over 10 years of teaching experience managing, planning and delivering Sport and Health and Safety Programmes. She has also developed various programmes for schools and training specifically tailored for children using practical and audio visual techniques to keep them engaged. Julie’s strengths are making the courses fun and enjoyable but still engaging so that students can learn and achieve good results. Other experience includes Bespoke courses tailored to your working environment and business needs.
NTS provides certificate’s through Ofqual and SQA which are a regulated awarding organisation. All courses meet the needs of the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and current regulations. NTS provides bespoke training focused on the clients time and needs. Courses are delivered on site or based at a local venue. NTS is committed to providing high quality training services inclusive to all.
NTS specialises in teaching students with disabilities and/or special learning needs and styles. NTS incorporates adaptations in theory elements of the sessions in order for them to be inclusive to all students. Please note a level of physical requirement is needed in practical elements of training in order to pass the assessment process and gain full qualification.
